Meals for Storm Victims
Christina Reuille | News 12 NowMcMinn County, Tenn. (WDEF) – Residents in the Tennessee Valley are still recovering from the deadly tornadoes earlier this week.
Now some employees with Waupaca Foundry in McMinn County are stepping in to help.
Today, they cooked up hot dogs and burgers for residents and first responders in both Polk and McMinn Counties.
“These are great people. They work hard every day and they’re concerned about their community and happy to give back. We get a lot out of the community, so it’s our turn to help them,” says Sam Greene, plant manager.
These workers delivered at least 300 meals to folks cleaning up today.
